NH48 pothole damaged my alloy, insurance claim experience

Hit an unmarked pothole on NH48 near Manesar at night, bent an alloy wheel and damaged the tyre sidewall. Filed an insurance claim for the first time. Process took about 10 days, cashless at a network garage, only had to pay the compulsory deductible. Sharing in case anyone else needs to go through this.
