📌Anyone got the EPC light recently?

Yes, twice in between 2 months. I drive Polo 1.0 TSI, first time It happened out of no where the car was running fine, there were no issues, no lights on dashboard, but EPC error came while I was in returning home and was in peak office timings, it started to give misfires I started to loose my control over throttle and it died on me on the road, I somehow pulled it on the side of the road tried to start it again but it reduesd to. I was clueless and there was no help arround but somehow it started after 10 minutes. I took the chance and left the place but it was dying after every few minutes, I somehow came upon the conclusion that somehow fuel pump is getting overheated and cutting the fuel, at that particular time there were check engine light, EPC light and ABS light flashing on the dash (they were not present before the problem). I took it to the VW on flat bed and they kept it for good 15 17 days and said me that it could be LPFP or HPFP and I should be better be prepared for hefty bill. After few days they called me that car is fine, they run some test and diagnosed it and the all this fuss was caused by faulty ABS sensors as they were making the voltage fluctuations. They quoted 13.5k for pair of two ABS sensors to change that's pathetic and overpriced as f*. But after one month it died again just like before, I took it home, contacted VW and almost booked flat bed and out of no where I did one thing that my local battery guy taught me when I got my battery replaced, he told me that after removing battery terminals the check engine light pop ups and to remove it there is a simple trick i.e. to shut the car turn on and off or rotate the key till accessories mode, lock the car for good 10-15 mins and come back and there would no lights. I did the same thing and some how it worked, since then I drove aroung 80-90 kilometres and till now it's working perfectly. I'm hoping it not to die on me again because I'm done with this but yeah I got EPC issues.
