Volkswagen's new flagship 7-seat SUV for India, launched as the R-Line trim on 19 February 2026 -- the brand's return to the segment after discontinuing the Tiguan AllSpace in 2021. Unlike the CBU-import Tiguan R-Line, the Tayron R-Line is brought in as a CKD kit and locally assembled, powered by the 2.0 TSI EVO4 (204 PS / 320 Nm).
